Make the tax donation as easy to remember as possible. So we really focused on the 'check' and 'coast'. The hand symbol and logo together would ingrain themselves into the people's brains.

To remain in the California Tax Donation Program, the California Coastal Commission needed to raise $250,000. But they were on the form as the "Protect Our Coast And Oceans Fund".

I helped lead the team that created the Check The Coast campaign which played a part in the California Coastal Commission beating their goal by $10,000. And they still run this campaign every year.
