Transformative Travel was a trend emanating from social media feeds. Coincidentally, more GoPros were being purchased for documenting trips than any other use case.
The trick would be putting it all together for new customers without pissing off the core audience.
Execute a global travel-focused campaign utilizing various GoPro production teams around the world. Without being able to utilize storyboards or actors.
I wrote a bunch of scripts and copy around certain travel topics. I also built production guides for each team so they could get photos and video clips from their part of the world that addressed those topics.
With focused footage from around the world, I worked with over a dozen creatives to build a campaign that filled all major forms of media.
These folks from the Philippines even took the voiceover from our spot and made their own edit.
