Shaun White Snowboarding had a unique feature that let players get off their boards and have snowball fights. To promote this, I wanted to pass out white Nerf footballs branded with White’s logo at San Francisco’s snowboard and ski event, Icer Air.
The game's marketing manager the rest of the team dug the idea. But unfortunately I wasn't proactive enough and we couldn't find a vendor to produce the balls in time.

The brief came in for this game with, "Budget: $0" written on it.
Thank goodness, the team at Ubisoft showcased many talents. Both of these videos were produced with in-game cameras and employees as voice talent.

Ubisoft headquarters is located a few blocks from Oracle Park (formally AT&T Park). Which makes the windows a great place to promote games.
For the launch of Tom Clancy’s End War, I wanted to take things a step further and turn the entire building into a spectacular piece featuring a satellite attacking the Earth. Sadly, a building takeover wasn’t in the budget.
